Rosetta, a new kind of “space metal”.

Rosetta, yet another band classified under the genres post-hardcore, drone and ambient types of music. The band members cited Stars of Lid as their major influence and are described by many as having a “space metal” touch in their music. If we can remember, Rosetta was a UFO sighting area in the United States and this probably is the inspiration of the band’s name.

All of the band members knew it other since High school and were members of other bands prior to their formation in 2003. After that, they eventually decided to do a gig of their own, thus Rosetta was born.
