Saving Abel

Weeks and Jason Null are the pioneers of the band Saving Abel. They formed the group in their hometown of Corinth, Mississippi last 2004. They crossed paths one day in a best friend’s house and everything grew from there. They immediately went on to write songs together. Apparently, Skidd Mills heard the groups songs and then invited them to his studios. It was the song ‘18 Days’ that really got his attention. He believed that this group would fare well in the music scene. Added to the group were Scott Bartlett, guitarist. Eric Taylor, bass player and Blake Dixon on drums. The name came to be when Null came across a line in the story of Cain and Abel that read… there was no saving Abel.
